We arrived here on Tuesday from Cape Town and had an afternoon game drive. I was/am not feeling great I seem to have picked up a chest cold from our Cape Town guide or maybe the hordes at Table Mountain. Here are some photos of our first drive.
Here the sun is just about to go down and we’ve stopped for sundowners. Then we head off for another couple hours with a spot-light. A pride of lions conveniently happened to come our way. The video is below.
It’s truly amazing how cold it is here in the morning and later evening. We definitely needed more sweaters a warm scarf and a toque would have been nice. I will look for one in the camp store today. Then it’s 28+ in the afternoon so you’re dressing and undressing all day!
