New Years Day-Bondi Beach

So, New Years Day and we are trying to recover from a late night, well past our usual bedtime. We had breakie and headed out to Bondi Beach, since we hadn't got there the last time we were in Sydney. This is one of the biggest beaches in Sydney, both size-wise and in popularity.

 This is what Sydney folk do on New Years Day!  Never see this many people at the polar bear swim in Vancouver!

Busy, busy, busy...hardly room for another beach towel.

 Big waves...people swimming and surfing too.  No worry about sharks, I guess.

 We walked along a walkway away from the beach...but only for a little way as it was hot and there were millions of people.
